RiverRock Engineering provided comprehensive site-civil design services for the Misty Lake RV Park project, ensuring a functional and efficient layout for RV parking, access drives, and utility connections. Our team managed the full scope of permitting requirements with Oconee County, including stormwater management, land disturbance, and utility coordination. By combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of local regulations, we helped streamline the approval process and support the successful development of this recreational site.
What the process looked like
The process began with a detailed site analysis to understand the property’s topography, drainage patterns, and access points. From there, RiverRock Engineering developed a complete site-civil design, including RV parking layouts, internal circulation routes, and utility placements tailored to the site's unique conditions. We then navigated the permitting process with Oconee County, preparing and submitting stormwater management plans, land disturbance applications, and utility service requests.Throughout the project, we coordinated closely with the developer and local officials to ensure compliance, minimize delays, and keep the project moving smoothly from concept to approval.
